About

  • Dream Reliquary is a project by artist Caledonia Curry, also known as Swoon. It is a space for people who wish to participate in the creation of a sculpture containing a large repository of dreams transcribed from people all over the world. Dreams transcribed here will be printed out and stored in hundreds of tiny drawers making up the body cavity of a layered figurative image. The sculpture will be an ongoing work, who’s first appearance will be at the exhibition “Wunder Kammer” being held in London November 2012. Swoon’s work often draws on the subconscious and dream imagery in the form of portraits containing layered and fragmented images and symbols. This work will deepen the relationship with dream imagery, while emphasizing the power of participation in shared psychological spaces.
